Kill, or spare, as you desire; but you have to live with the choice because you won't see her again. If you refuse to help her, this entire quest line will be over. After you kill him, you take that info from his computer anyway. If you spare him, she'll seem rather surprised and disappointed towards V but she'll consider the gig closed (reluctantly).
